Living in Hong Kong

Elmer's Life in Hong Kong

China Eggs Still Contain Melamine

China and Melamine continue to be used in a sentence.

This comes as eggs produced in China's northeast province of Jilin contained 4.7 parts per million of melamine in the eggs from the northeast China's Jilin province. Hong Kong's legal limit is 2.5 ppm.

Chicken exposed to melamine tainted food will likely produce eggs with high melamine content.

Although not all eggs sold in Hong Kong are from China, this news has kept me from having eggs in my meal for the first time in the past few months.
