The Great Ocean Park Discount

If you are a tourist planning to go to Ocean Park, now is the time to do so: the theme park has slashed its entrance fee for adults and children! Admission to the park for local adults will drop from HK$208 to HK$145.60. Ticket prices for children between the ages of three and 11 have been cut from HK$103 to HK$72.10. Hong Kong residents above the age of 65 and residents / visitors below 3 years old will continue to enjoy the park for free. Up to 20% discount on food and souvenirs are also expected.

This is a very laudable act. I think Ocean Park's proactive stance on what's going on in the economy will eventually pay off huge dividends.

I wonder if Hong Kong Disneyland will do the same. Haven't heard it yet as of blogging time. Even if the approach might be interpreted as copycat move, it will nonetheless be appreciated by locals and foreign visitors.

Hi Delta,

Unfortunately the offer is not for everyone. It is intended to people who can present HK ID. So if you have a friend here, you can ask him/her to accompany you to Ocean Park and buy tickets there (s/he will have to show Hong Kong ID).

One HK ID presented can avail of up to two entrance tickets.
